So I’ve read over the rules, all the newbie info and wondering if my only option for my car is sm2.  I have a 2017 McLaren 570s I’d like to do a season with next year.  I’m looking to swap out the rotors for factory steel as the cost of running the carbon rotors/pads just don’t seem worth it.  Car is stock everything and is 3.8L, twin turbo. From what I’ve read the sm2 class is pretty much no holds bar, but is that my only option?

Lastly, wondering about novice class as well.  I’ve done a few of the rmsolo events through the dealership when you guys host it, much appreciated btw, but never done any official events.  Should I check the novice box when I start getting rolling for next season?

Really appreciate the help and advice!

Looks like its valid in Super Street (SS) class.

Yeah, you should be checking the novice box for your first year.

Right on.  Thanks a bunch for writing back and letting me know there are options for classes.  I didn’t want to cannon ball straight into the deep end.

    Novice box all the way!
