We ran my daughter’s 2016 VW Golf TSI 1.8T base last year a couple times in GS. After chewing up the front tires (a VW suspension trait) and it being due for some struts and shocks anyway, I went with coil over setup with camber plates and the GTI wheels. That is the only modification I’ve done on this car. Going through the classification matrix, I still am not sure on what class she would run. I’m torn between STS and STH. We won’t be competitive at all in either class when we come back this year, but she sure is having a blast.
