Question: Is working sound during heats at this site something I can do seated?

When I registered I requested a non-working-course assignment due to foot issues. I’d rather do sound than third shift gate (currently open) so I can attend the driver’s meeting as I haven’t run with RMsolo in a few years. I’m not sure if sound here requires any special training, but I’ve done it at other events (2017 Packwood ProSolo most recently).

Sound is a standing assignment.  Its on course, so while you won’t be running regularly, you do need to be ready to run in the unlikely event a car spins in the direction of the sound meter.

Are there any other work assignments that don’t require standing? As far as I can think of, it’s just timing and scoring and gate.
