Hi there, so I am now running AS, and I thought by registering with my number for an event would reserve that number.. I guess not, I was able to register with it for the next event, but how do I relinquish 41 ES and reserve 41 AS? Thanks in advance!
You can delete a car from your garage in MotorsportReg.com, I don’t know if that releases the attached number or not. I see my list of reserved numbers, but I do not see a handy button in my profile to add or release a number. On the registration page, for number problems it says to ask the registrar. So I don’t know who pushes the magic button to reserve numbers, I would start with either Jeff Hugo or Ann Criqui.
Matt Leicester
I went in and deleted the Spyder and ISF- kinda sad . I notice today that it says 41 AS is reserved in my list, but it wasn’t highlighted when I registered yesterday…I guess I’ll find out next time I register..especially now that magnets don’t work on the car I want to know that I can stick it on and forget it, lol.
Generally in SCCA Autocross, it is a number/class combo. You can look thru past results and see who has/is running AS 41 and reach out to them to see if they are continuing to run. Chelsea Tattershall may be another good person to reach out to. But good chance you’ll have to change numbers.
No.. it’s free, I just thought that when I used 41 AS a couple events ago, when I went to register for #event 12 it’d be reserved, and it didn’t look that way, although in my list of reserved numbers it has 41AS..so it’s probably all good. 🙂
I checked, and 41 AS is registered to you.
Thanks, Jeff!
