    Hello,

I would like to attend with my daughter the SpeedTrain Autocross School scheduled for May 1st, but I don’t see a clickable link on the event schedule. Is registration not open yet, or is there a different way to register? Also, where can I get more information about the event, including prices and evetn details? Thanks!

There is a post in the Announcements section saying that registration is open, and has this link:

$45 entry fee, which includes lunch, if not an SCCA member there will be an additional $15 Weekend Membership required.  Plenty of spaces available as of this post, but do not wait until the last week, there is an attendance cap of 45 students.

Thank you, Matt! Apparently, I went earlier to that page but did not realize there was a way to register. Now I see the steps to do it.

On a side note, I could use some feedback about this school – I had never heard of it before. I have attended the EVO schools, but I have no idea what this one is. I may consider entering myself, just to get some seat time, if it’s worth it.

Speed Train is…ummm…not an Evo School.  Pretty introductory, the instructors are all volunteer and range in experience both in types of cars driven and years of driving.  Speed Train is excellent for beginners to get comfortable with autocross and for intermediate drivers to get more time, but more experienced drivers are gladly welcomed to volunteer to instruct!

Thank you, Matt! That is what I thought. Maybe I could instead volunteer to instruct? Who do I contact for that?
