3 workers needed for BMW dealer event @ EVOC – paid, even! 8/4/18

Greetings all – I need three more workers for a dealer event at EVOC. It conflicts with an event at PPIR, which is unfortunate, but for those that want some test time at EVOC, don’t want to get up QUITE as early – probably need to be on site at 8am – want to get paid for your efforts – $150 for the day – and get somewhere in the neighborhood of 10-15 runs, give or take (typically a few during setup, a few at lunch, then we can cram in a bunch between when they’re done & when we get picked up), let me know if you can attend!

Basic day is simple – show up, we set up a course. We’ll set up a fairly simple, fun course. I might reuse a course we’ve used for a couple of Mike Ward events, or a modified version of the Saturday Axis vs Allies course – that looked very good to me. It needs to be fun, on the faster/simpler side, easy to see/drive, and most importantly, forgiving of “creative” line choices – IE, if a driver is optimistic with regard to how much speed can be carried into a turnaround, they won’t relocate a wall of cones (thet we have to pick up/reset…..

We then work the course – we record times, reset cones. Typically, we don’t record cones, just times. They’re low-key events – the point is for people to come out and have fun. They’ll do two groups – a morning session, an afternoon session. We can normally do some runs during lunch, then, once they’ve finished, we can do some runs after they’re done/before we pick up.

We pick up, reload the truck, collect trash, ensure the site is clean (important at all sites, especially EVOC), call it a day. They’re really fun events. Contact me via email/pm/phone/text/etc – ircmannix at gmail, 7/203 1193.
