2007 Mustang GT 4.6 3v. $9,000 No Title – Saved from the salvage yard.
48K mile stock engine. No rust. Took on as a SCCA CAM autocross project as car. Acquired from salvage yard, about to be sold for parts. Saved from crusher. There was no title and sold as “parts only”. Not autocrossing as much. When rebuilt: New: Starter, Fuel Pump ,Clutch, Pressure Plate, Spark Plugs, fuel filter, throttle position sensor, MAF sensor, all four calipers and master cylinder, slotted rotors, Hawk HP brake pads, Caster-Camber Plates, Strut Tower Brace. A/C Eliminator pulleys/bracket , BMR Motor Mounts, SCT Tuner, CAI (cold Air intake), Battery Relocation kit, 3.73 Gear with new carbon fiber clutches. Ford Race Suspension (Koni adjustable, all new bushings/front/rear control arms, adjustable panhard rod), aluminum 1-piece driveshaft, Apex Wheels 18”x 11 wide, Rear Seat Delete, Race bucket seats, new windshield.
Car runs, handles and brakes well. Suspension set up for track. I am past the stage of life wanting to drive this set up daily.
Will consider trade (up or down with money negotiable) for mid size SUV or right street car but not a small vehicle or sports car. This was a project and completed to the level for where I want to be, not racing much and is a great start for someone to play and develop further in CAM (a supercharger would be awesome additional add-on in CAM). Starter Mustang in road race car series. Have fairly new 18’ long dove-tailed open trailer can be worked into trade/sell.
