Novice autocrosser here looking for a little help to make sure I am in the right class.  I have a 2001 Mazda Miata LS.  Modifications consist of Flyin’ Miata springs, shocks, and sway bars.  Everything else is stock.  What class should I be in?  Street Touring Roadster?

    Any help would be appreciated!

I’m not the one to talk about for classing, but since this is a winter event, just sign up for STR and have some fun.  If you need to change classes later, we can do that too.

Indeed the 2001 Miata LS would be in STR with springs and both sway bars replaced.  With just shocks and one sway bar (front or rear) you could run E Street.

    Hi,

We bought a race car, NASA approved for Spec Miata class racing. We signed up for the SCCA SpeedTrain and SOLO events this coming weekend at PPIR, but want to be sure we selected the right class.

C prepared sound right? It’s an ND1 chasis with sway bars, special shocks and  roll cage, as required for Spec Miata 2020 NASA regs. pic attached
