    Hi all –

    For those not on Facebook, I am collecting feedback on the status for this Sunday’s event.  Concerns include cold/wind for course workers, possible rain at eh event, and cold/wet conditions for the return trip to Denver after the event.  Alternate date would be May 16th.

    Thanks for any and all thoughts.

    Jason

    It is going to be a crap shoot no matter which date we pick.  I say keep it on the 9th.  If you look at AccuWeather (link below) it doesn’t look that bad.  Gust to 17 mph and only .05 inch of rain expected.  Just pick your weather app to see the weather you want. (c;

    I say keep it, but I also know if a lot of people don’t come it makes jobs harder to fill.

    I say keep it. Weather is going to be a factor in CO always, no way around it, especially in the spring and early summer. I don’t think we have any better shot the following weekend with respect to weather, it is a total unknown.

    Then there is the schedule issue, my summer calendar got planned the day the RMSolo calendar dropped, including things that are difficult to arrange like childcare. I cannot attend the 16th for example, I have a family wedding planned, and the same story throughout other weekends during the whole season.

    My $0.02, unless worker and participant safety is in jeopardy events should always go forward as scheduled.

    Keep it. Unless snow is in the forecast there is no reason to cancel an event.
